Ok, the picture quality is HORRIBLE, but here is my hug strip! I sure do love to hug these boys!!!
We just got home from a long weekend in Maryville. We had a very nice visit with family. We got there late Thursday night and stayed with Ian’s brother Sean and his wife Alisha. They were both able to take off work on Friday, so it extended our fun weekend! I do have to add that Alisha and I went to see Like Dandelion Dust in Turkey Creek on Friday, we both cried like babies. I have seriously never cried so hard in a movie! Afterwards we went to the park for a walk and to let the kids play…Ian & Sean included;)
Below are picture of Ty & Micah…Ty is on the left, Micah on the right. It’s pretty interesting how I got VERY similar pictures of the boys on accident!
Saturday we spent the day in the Mountains (driving around!) Our goal was to get to Clingmans Dome, apparently with no directions. I will just say, we never made it. The 3 adults that weren’t driving, Sean, Alisha, and me, were all very car sick and had to take a break from the car. We stopped and had our lunch break around 4 then turned and headed home. We did have a great time together laughing and blaming each other for getting ‘lost’:)
I gave Ty & Micah their first haircuts this week. They did AWESOME! They were starting to get very shaggy and Micah had a pretty bad mullet.
They look so cute with their new cuts:) Again, they did awesome! Let me just say…animals crackers were a brilliant idea!

Micah has some ideas…
Put his sippy cup, duck, and lid in it.
carry his stuff around in it. (he did this ALOT today haha, he has both sippy cups full of milk in there. It was pretty cute seeing this tiny guy carrying around this big box) Too bad I didn’t get a pic of him carrying it:/
Take a little breather….
My mom bought the boys pumpkins this year. I thought it would be SO fun for us to draw on them together, I was super excited. I wasn’t thinking clearly of course, why would I want to give a one year old a Sharpie? Instead I decided to draw on it myself, then take their pictures with it. However, they can’t get past the idea that it isn’t a ball. As soon as I hand them the pumpkins, they throw it and say ‘Ba’ Cute, I know! So, none of my pics are actually with the boys holding the pumpkins…but I did get a shot of Ty throwing his:)
Dexter my nephew LOVES trains, so we decided our outing for today would be to see the train in town. We decided we would surprise him and see if he knew what it was. It was pretty cute, he immediately recognized what it was and said “choo choo”. So cute. He was able to touch the train and even climb on little sections of it. He LOVED it. You could tell he was so excited. It was totally worth taking him to see it.
I have already decided to get him a train for Christmas this year. I need to start looking for one SOON, Christmas is just around the corner. He loves choo choos:)
These boys didn’t care about the train. I don’t think they really know what it is yet.
So, today we went to Bark in the Park. This was Ty’s first outing since his hospital visit. It was a wonderful day to go out! Bark in the Park is an outing for owners and their dogs. It’s really cute:) They have tents up that have water stations for dogs, accessories, snacks, toys…all for dogs!! I do NOT have a dog, but I have 2 babies and a nephew that LOVES dogs:) Ian was working a booth with the bank so we decided to get out of the house. Let me tell you, the boys were in dog heaven. They really liked it. They did not freak out from excitement like we thought they would. We thought the boys would bark till they passed out, but thankfully that didn’t happen:) They did have a great time getting to see lots of dogs and even getting to pet one of Ian’s coworkers dog, Tucker. I was very glad there was no dog hair pulling, they were very gentle with Tucker. Just too cute:) Check out the face painting….
They all 3 did great! Very little smearing:)
The 3 cutest puppies there!
We decided we want to go back next year and bring “cousin” puppy Bentley
