Santa’s Workshop, Here We Come!!!

 

Okay, so I am no where near being ready for it, but I do have some things finished:)  I have had SEVERAL people ask recently what will be displayed in our shop. I decided to post a few pics.  We have some very cute things…at least cute to us:)

Santa’s Workshop starts Friday Nov. 19th.  Come by and say HI! even if you don’t buy anything:) It will at least make other people think we are busy!! haha 

Here are a few things we are doing….

   

Ties, Headband, Hairclips, bibs, baby leggies, sock monsters, monster hats, girl and boy hats!

Sorry the lighting isn’t great on the last few photos! It’s hard to get great natural lighting at 10:30 pm and I refuse to use a flash! Also, it looks like the copy paste pics are blurry…Sorry!

I just didn’t realize how hard it would be…

 

to have family pictures taken with twin 1 year olds.  The pictures turned out great! Alissa from Center Point Photography did an awesome job.  Ty and Micah however…. They pretty much cried the whole hour or so that the photo session lasted.  They are sweet, sweet babies, but when that camera came out they wanted nothing to do with it.  I think it was mostly that we wanted to them to stand side by side and look happy for pictures.  They wanted to walk around, not beside each other.  Like I said, Alissa did a great job. Now I just have to decide what I want to hang on my walls and where to hang them. Oh and one of these will definitely be my Christmas card picture this year!

oh sorry, that was just a little sample of what we had to deal with:) gotta love them!

 

p.s. I really do love the picture of me holding the 2 crying babies. Maybe I will hang that on my wall…or better yet, maybe THAT will be my Christmas card this year!!! ;)

Hoedown

 

I look forward to our church hoedown every year!  It is so much fun getting together with our church family and enjoying great food, music, fellowship, and I can’t leave off the dancing.  I was unfortunately wearing flip flops this year, so my toes got crushed in the dancing.  Anyways, they always have a chili and dessert contest, I try to enter every year and NEVER win! :)  The closest I ever came to winning a contest was dressing Ty & Micah up as mice last year.  They won a bucket of candy that I got to enjoy:)

This year we decided to not dress them up.  They have a pair of overalls, so we thought that was perfect for a hoedown!  And I don’t mean osh kosh overalls, its the liberty brand! Hoedown overalls for sure!  (thanks Tammy! we love them;) haha)

This is our sweet friend, Jennifer.  I think she loves Ty & Micah as much as they love her. Jennifer and Hannah, another sweet friend of ours, took such great care of Ty & Micah at the hoedown.  They definitely kept each other entertained!

This is the pumpkin hunt for ages 3 and under.  Ty & Micah were not really interested in finding the pumpkins, but they enjoyed throwing them like balls after we found them:)
